Market and opinion research

We provide insight into markets, customers and public opinion in a form that supports a decision.

Research is valuable when it answers a specific question from the board. We therefore start by establishing what decision needs to be made and what information it requires.

We design the study, choose the method and oversee fieldwork, working with specialist fieldwork providers. We present results as conclusions and recommendations, not as a set of tables.

Frequently asked questions

Do you carry out fieldwork yourselves?

We carry out the research design, analysis and conclusions ourselves. Large-sample fieldwork is commissioned from specialist providers under our quality oversight. In-depth and stakeholder interviews are conducted by our own team.

How do you protect respondents' confidentiality?

Interviews are conducted in confidence and results are reported in aggregated or anonymised form. Personal data is processed in line with the GDPR, and its use is agreed with the client before the study begins.

Can the results be published?

Yes, provided the study is designed for publication from the outset. In that case we take particular care over methodology, sampling and reporting, so that the findings withstand scrutiny from journalists and experts.
